NEW YEAR’S EVE ACID with Zillas on Acid (Live), Quaals & DJ Mario Cotto
ZILLAS ON ACID (**LIVE!)
Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger. Resident DJs for the past 18 years at MAKING TIME, Philadelphia’s never-ending nightlife institution, the Zillas have produced their own blend of psychedelic acid house for fave labels like Optimo Music, Ivan Smagghe’s Les Disques de la Mort, Live at Robert Johnson, Running Back, and many others. 2025 sees the debut of Zillas on Acid LIVE–a new band incarnation featuring musicians Ari Ratner (Cake Knife) and Matt O’Hare (Waterworld Part 2)–to create slow-motion death disco, dubbed-out drum machine music, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

QUAALS
Quaals is a band consisting of David Jack Daniels, Brent Bohan, and Jeff Zeigler, each bringing their own sensibilities to a project that is (un)equal parts post-punk, dub, shoegaze, and kraut-leaning drone.

DJ MARIO COTTO
After 13 years of Saturday late nights on LA radio, festivals, bars and clubs, Mario Cotto returned to his native Philadelphia to play on Great Circles, festivals, bars and clubs. He is a Zillastan and hopes to one day (fingers crossed) be awarded the Zillas on Acid Employee of the Month Medal of Safety Compliance.
