Attia Taylor is a Brooklyn-based musician and activist. In addition to her work as the lead singer of pysch-pop duo, Strange Parts, Taylor is the editor in chief of Womanly, a magazine she founded 5 years ago to create accessible health information for Black and Brown women and non binary folks. Space Ghost is Taylor’s debut album that follows a string of acclaimed solo EPs. Named after the star of Hannah-Barbera’s surreal and absurdist cartoon talk show, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, much of the album’s tracks were written over the last decade. and chronicle Taylor’s time growing up in boarding school, past relationships, and feelings of grief and aloneness. With Taylor’s Strange Parts partner, Corey Carris Duncan on drums, the album is full of gorgeous tunes like “Basic Economics”, “Dog And Pony Show”, and “Wanderer” that are awash in psychedelic textures and soaring vocal harmonies.

Corey Carris Duncan is a multi instrumentalist, who plays in Oh! Pears, Strange Parts, and Burnt Pink. His most recent solo work is a psychedelic lofi loop based project.
