Aunt Dracula, a motley crew hailing from the city of Brotherly Love – that’s Philadelphia for the uninitiated – consists of the musical talents of Scott Daly, Ashley Andrien, Piotr Spzunar, & Patrick Devlin. Their tunes, roomier than a Mississippi paddleboat, meander through eerie soundscapes, conjuring up a musical world akin to a haunted greenhouse, where peculiar musical critters frolic amid layered incantations. With pop rhythms throbbing in their veins, Aunt Dracula’s sonic journey takes you on a mysterious ride, a bit like navigating the bends of the mighty Mississippi, but with a psychedelic twist that’d leave Huck Finn scratching his head.
