THE KNEE JERK REACTION

In 2017, Gabriel DeSanto first began writing music under the moniker The Knee-Jerk Reaction, interested in exploring what lies beneath the gaudy and vapid corners of American life. After recording through long nights that summer in Kentucky, the music began resembling a score from an abandoned romantic drama from the 80s, full of unrequited love and desperation.  Now a full band, backed by Francie Medosch, Eli Kleinsmith, Adam Torneo, Garrett Burke, and Jared Radichel, the music remains flamboyant and grounded in rock n roll tradition, taking you to the depths of murky dive bars off the side of the highway to motels where secret lovers elope. The Knee-Jerk Reaction wants to show you that love will never die.
