ANNONXL
annonXL is no stranger to chaos, so it makes sense that their music reflects that. The singer, songwriter, and producer finds refuge in crafting R&B melodies that transcend almost any genre of music. XL’s use of enormous drums, ethereal soundscapes, and cutting-edge lyrics makes them the ultimate weapon. Although born in West Philadelphia and partially raised in South Philadelphia, Annon has deep roots in Delaware County, also known as Delaware County, or DELCO. DELCO is where they would get their singing and producing chops. annonXL would begin their journey in 2015, performing at local open mic nights as early as high school at venues such as World Cafe Live and The Fire. With each performance, XL would become increasingly demanding of attention, which would slowly catapult them into showcases and eventually lead to headlining in 2021. The crooner now finds themself shifting the tides in Los Angeles in hopes of making Philly and DELCO extremely proud.
Now, in 2025, as annonXL gears up for their upcoming studio LP, XL comes home to celebrate the wins & losses that have taken place over the last two years, and, most importantly, to build anticipation for what is to come! The proceeds from this show will be used directly for the creation, marketing, and visual aspects of this studio album. Joined by longtime friends Aleana and Dalt, annonXL looks forward to another unforgettable evening at Johnny Brenda’s.
