Nathan Xander writes songs that are steeped in the quiet, restrained tension of what Greil Marcus called the ‘Old, Weird America’. The New York based songwriter has spent the last decade refining his craft across stages of all sizes, from dive bars to folk festivals; having shared bills with Justin Townes Earle, Tyler Childers, Lydia Loveless, Tommy Stinson, Robbie Fulks, and Sarah Shook & The Disarmers. Xander sorts through love, loss, and evolving identity as he stands on the threshold of a new era in his own career.
