Since his beginnings in the suburban Midwest, Charlie Burg has served as a silent force in indie music scenes since his late 2010’s string of releases. Developing a modest cult following in the ensuing pandemic years, backed by admiration from fellow artists all over the world, Burg emerged after his initial breakout with a sprawling, ambitious 15-track debut record on FADER Label in 2022. Upon completion of his first headline tours in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, the young songwriter and producer was left unsure of his artistic direction. Burg took time off to travel, living in Paris and London alone, searching for authenticity in his art. He returns this year with his most refined and explorative work yet—soulful, raw, and unafraid to take risks. In preparation of sharing this story with his unwavering international fanbase, Burg takes the stage in a way that honors his musical roots – just him and a guitar. A short run of intimate solo shows for his super-supporters is the prologue for what will be a striking return – to music, to fans, and to himself.
