DOMINIC ANGELELLA & ERIC SLICK
Performing Songs from Lithuania & DRGN King
Lithuania is the long-running project of Philadelphia musicians Eric Slick and Dominic Angelella, born from years of friendship and a shared desire to chase louder, more impulsive ideas outside their other work. Blending punk immediacy with sharp, melodic songwriting, the duo has crafted a cult-beloved catalog highlighted by their albums Hardcore Friends and White Reindeer. Even as both artists maintain busy solo and collaborative careers, Lithuania remains a space where their chemistry, curiosity, and creative telepathy collide.
THE TISBURYS
Philadelphia’s The Tisburys’ new album A Still Life Revisited is their most collaborative effort to date, with every member contributing songwriting and production ideas. While their last album (2022’s Exile On Main Street) channeled 90s radio rock such as Gin Blossoms and The Replacements, A Still Life Revisited pushes into the aughts with the rustic bombast of millennial indie such as Frightened Rabbit and Dr. Dog. The band has earned praise from NPR, WXPN, and Steven Van Zandt’s Underground Garage, and shared stages with artists such as Old 97s, Neon Trees, & The Hold Steady. A Still Life Revisited by The Tisburys is out now on Double Helix Records and SofaBurn Records.
TWIN PRINCESS
Philadelphia’s synth-pop-sun, doom-country-rising Twin Princess forge a mirrorball-lit realm in Blood Moon, their first full-length album. Its shimmering, gloom-tinged songs carry a fanged tenderness, a vulnerable resilience — through vibrant emotion and a steady candor, the mundane becomes mystical. Here, revelation and renewal can happen in the cold light of a midnight CVS; revisiting and reevaluating memories of a city or sidewalk or bathtub that changed you proves as transformative as the lived moment; flowers poking through snow in winter become omens of perennial desire.
Led by Pauli Mia (she/her) on vocals and synth, Twin Princess features Adam Dasilva (they/them) on guitar, Kirby Vibek (he/him) on drums, and Eric Schueler (he/they) on bass. The band began as a duo project between Mia and Ryan Ficano (he/him), who served as the lead engineer and producer for the album. Blood Moon honors and elevates the precedents set by 2020 debut EP Fraise and its 2021 stripped-down piano reimagining, Fraise: Side B.
Twin Princess is currently working on their next project.
