RACHEL ANDIE
Rachel Andie is a Japanese-American multi-instrumentalist and singer from Philadelphia. After a seven year hiatus from releasing music, she returns with her sophomore LP, “Battle Beetle” on Friday, November 28th. This record began in 2023 with her bandmates from New Zealand who came to America to join her for a northeast coast tour, ending in a live studio album recorded by Alex Santilli and Eric Bogacz. Opening for artists like Alex G and Allen Stone, she began to refine her live sound and decided to continue her solo career back in the US, after many years of playing music in NZ for the love of their scene and musical culture. She now tours her original material with her closest musical friends back in Philly as a four piece, consisting of Erik Kramer, Kyon Williams and Asher Wolf.
