SEXUAL PURITY (CHI) – Sexual Purity is a Ukrainian-born electronic duo formed by Anastasiia Zeitmann and Oleksii Donets, based in Chicago. Their music is dark and intense, yet hypnotic and incredibly danceable. It pulls the listener into an unknown space — a place you want to stay in, to be immersed in the darkness, driven by unstoppable groove and raw energy.
They reject genre boundaries, creating instinctively — through emotion and lived experience. Each track is a dive into the unknown: it could be a powerful, dance-inducing beat or a song drenched in pain and disillusionment.
Their lyrics are stories drawn from diverse sources — personal experience, books on a wide range of topics, and rich with layered references.
The band follows a clear artistic vision and does everything themselves. Oleksii creates each track from scratch — from designing unique sounds to mixing and mastering. At the same time, Anastasiia works on the lyrics, vocals, cover art, and overall aesthetic.
Sexual Purity is more than music. It’s a sonic purification — an invitation to dissolve into rhythm and face your darkness with pleasure.
SAINT CYANIDE (PHL) – Saint Cyanide makes designer noise. Their music combines dark synth basslines with post-punk guitars and dance floor drums – a reflection of their various influences and inspirations. The result is familiar yet original; a party and a gut punch. They consist of Philip Schorn (synth, percussion), Rick Mitchell (guitar, synth) and Steven Haslam (vocals). They’ve played in a bunch of bands over the years – together and separately – and blah blah blah, etc., etc. Proudly from Philadelphia.
TIFFADELIC (DET) – A magnetic force within modern darkwave, Tiffadelic, the self-proclaimed Princess of Darkness, builds hypnotic soundscapes where ritual and rebellion collide. Her debut album Retrosynthesis, released on September 18th 2025, embodies postpunk, darkwave, ethereal wave, minimal wave, and experimental textures, channeling the pulse of underground music through a lens of sharp emotional clarity.
With vocals that move between trance-like chants and visceral release, she crafts sonic ceremonies that blur the line between performer and witness. Her sound feels both vintage and future bound, sacred and subversive.
Rooted in Detroit’s underground and rising fast across international darkwave circuits, she is carving her own mythology, one that feels less like imitation and more like invocation.
