FISHTOWN CHOIR 

Fishtown Choir—Philly’s most inclusive and spirited “bar choir”—is back at JB’s for another rousing evening of song. This evening, in honor of co-founder Melissa’s birthday, we’re singing some of her favorites from THE CRANBERRIES and THE CHICKS (and likely a couple surprises). 

 

If you’ve never been, Fishtown Choir is an impromptu adult choir of friends and neighbors singing the hits, together. It’s a way for Philadelphians to congregate and engage in the millennia-old tradition of communal singing (and drinking). 

 

No training or experience required. Just show up with your voice ready to sing. Or, if you want to just sit at the bar and watch, we won’t be mad at that. For each song we spend 45 or so minutes learning the parts and harmonies and conclude with a “performance” that we film and share with you afterwards.
